WEEKEND AT PUERTO

last weekend, my friends at Balikatan (mountaineering group) held their 11th yr induction at Puerto Galera (Mindoro). Well of course, I was able to join the said activity.
We left Manila, dawn of Oct 17 with a couple of batchmates, execoms & the 4 soon-to-be-members (applicants).
I was excited coz that was the first time i'll be witnessing the rites.
Aside from that, I haven't attended any climbs for almost 2 yrs now.
So I was really excited.
So much for the excitement, my friends & "her" arrived 4 hrs later....
She was the least person I would want to be with there at PG,,,,
But that's fate,,, Oh well,,,,
The induction rites went ok though not so organized, we are all happy it was over,,,,
And now our Balikatan family has 4 new members,,,,,
HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
before I forgot, every night, we have this session (inuman!), and I admit I died on the first night!
Funny thing was, my friends asked one of my co-member's help,,,,
the next mornig, I was one of the topics of the group,,, I was so embarrased but still managed to laugh about it,,,,
what embarrased me most was when my co-member (the one my friend asked help from) said,,,,
"uy tin! langya ka, lasing na lasing ka kagabi, pagpasok ko ng room nyo, naka ######## ka lng,,,,"
hahahahaha
the lesson, don't drink when you are in the middle of an activity!!!!! hahahahaha
it was fun & yes! so memorable,,,,
I'll surely go back there for another induction rite,,,,
